Strengthening Academic Integrity in Ukraine Project (SAIUP) and Seeding Academic Integrity in Secondary School (SAISS) Project, administered by American Councils for International Education, promote reforms in Ukrainian Higher Education and Secondary Schools through a public diplomacy partnership with the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv (the Embassy). As a part of a four-year project, projects’ events are aiming at education of students and pupils, faculty and teachers, administrators and parents on the practical value and importance of academic integrity. We provide resources and a roadmap to closely involve participants of the educational process in strengthening academic integrity on campuses of their universities and in schools. Supporting the education and skill-building effort, both Projects hold public outreach activities and highlight integrity both on campus and in society. Also SAIUP/SAISS work with the Ministry of Education and Science to enable key operational modification to underpin sustainable, lasting change to education in Ukraine on a national scale.
Projects’ Mission: we aim at systematical changes in Ukrainian Higher and Secondary Education Systems to benefit all stakeholders – universities/schools, students/pupils, faculty/teachers and employers, and create a new academic culture.
